Your membership supports the following 2011-2012 PTA sponsored activities and items for our students at Olney Elementary School
- Five Cultural Arts Programs Per Year: Shows have included: Math Magic Show, Hip-Hop Illstyle Show, American Sign Language Show Road Signs and more
- Family Nights: Friday Evening OES Picnics, Family Bingo Night, and our Fall Dance with DJ
- Fieldtrips Or Activities For Each Grade: Approx. $500 per grade! Examples include: 4th grade Bay Day Celebration, 1st grade Sharp’s Farm Visit and 5th grade Memories Party
OES PTA contributes heavily toward graduation party and T-shirts for every student
- Patrols’ Belts & Raingear
- OES Reading Enrichment Program
- Science Fair
- Media Center Programs/Supplies/Technology
- OES School Beautification Program Donation: e.g., mulch, plantings, yard clean-up
- OES Student Directory
- Teacher Reimbursement For Classroom Supplies They Purchase: e.g., poster board, books, learning aids
- Staff Appreciation Events
The PTA is a national, nonprofit organization that does NOT receive any financial benefit from school activities. PTA Memberships give parents a chance to enrich the school experience for their child and a powerful voice to advocate for their child’s needs.
